Zelensky Criticizes U.S. Response to Russian Attacks

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has expressed concern over what he perceives as a lack of a strong response from the United States to recent Russian aerial assaults. In a statement following Russia’s largest aerial attack since the invasion began in 2022, Zelensky suggested that the U.S.’s “silence” may embolden President Vladimir Putin. In response, former U.S. President Donald Trump condemned Putin’s actions, stating, “I’m not happy with what Putin is doing. He’s killing a lot of people.” However, his comments lacked specifics on potential U.S. actions. The situation underscores the ongoing international debate over the appropriate level of involvement and response to the conflict.
