Murree, August 15, 2025  The National Highways and Motorway Police in Murree marked Pakistan’s 79th Independence Day with a dignified flag-hoisting ceremony and a grand flag march, bringing together officers, local dignitaries, and students to celebrate the nation’s freedom.

The event began with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by heartfelt national songs performed by students from local colleges. The gathering reflected a strong spirit of unity, with participants of all ages joining in to honor the sacrifices that led to Pakistan’s independence.

Superintendent of Police Adeel Shehzad presided over the ceremony, emphasizing in his address the importance of national pride and the responsibilities of every citizen in safeguarding Pakistan’s future.
