Stanley Assault: Teen Arrested After Elderly Men Hurt

A 14-year-old boy has been arrested in Stanley, County Durham, after two elderly men were allegedly assaulted on East Street. The incident occurred shortly after 7 p.m. on August 21, prompting a response from Durham Constabulary officers.

Police confirmed that one man in his 70s suffered a cut lip, while the second, also in his 70s, was unharmed but left shaken.
