British intelligence has reportedly secured a list identifying nine towns across the United Kingdom that Russia is believed to have marked as priority bombing targets in the event of open conflict. The disclosure offers the clearest insight so far into Moscow’s possible plans against British territory.

According to intelligence sources, a British officer operating in Eastern Europe received the list from a Russian agent last year. The document includes details suggesting coordinated low-level and high-level strikes aimed at undermining national defences. One insider from Whitehall revealed that part of the strategy is designed to divert the Royal Air Force’s Quick Reaction Alert units’ air crews tasked with immediate defensive response before launching a more substantial assault.

While officials have not published the full list for security reasons, it is widely assumed that towns with significant military infrastructure could be included. Locations such as Aldershot, Colchester, and Portsmouth, known for their connections to the armed forces are thought to be among the primary targets.
